Being a UQHRA member entitles you to participate in all events including the annual Race Meet at Laurel Brown Race Track, Fall Horse Sale, The Beehive Stallion Auction, Seminars, Youth Experience and the Year End Banquet and Awards. High quality Montana Silver Smith buckles are provided to the top three places in each division. Furthermore, western saddles are given to the high point 2 year old and high point 3 year old race horse. Plaques are given to the stakes winners on race days. Many other items are presented throughout the year to UQHRA members in the form of products, coupons and services.

During the 2005 Race meet we have a number of events such as: horse races, dog races, children's foot races, children's stick horse races and youth day at the races. May 21, 2005 is "Kids Day at the Races" we have a number of festivities planned. On June 4th after the Horse Races there is a BBQ planned with live entertainment, games for the kids, prize drawings and great food, this is free to all UQHRA members.

Computer Training:

The UQHRA also offers an educational opportunity to its members. Free computer, website and e-mail classes are offered. Classes are held at the International Center in Salt Lake City. Dates will be announced via our the Members Newsletter.

Monthly Board Meetings:

Members are also welcome to attend any of our monthly board meetings or the various committee meetings in order to learn more about the policies and procedures of the association. We encourage participation from the membership as they always have a voice in the direction of programs and events.
